DREAMS(2)

*WISDOM FOR TODAY.*

*DREAMS (2).*

*Scripture Treasure.*

*_Gen 41:15-16_ _And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, I have dreamed a dream, and there is none that can interpret it: and I have heard say of thee, that thou canst understand a dream to interpret it._*

*_And Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying, It is not in me: God shall give Pharaoh an answer of peace._*

*Insight and Highlight.*

We must pray not to be deprived of the interpretations of dreams that God has given us the liberty to receive.

*_Scripture Commentaries._*

Yesterday, we looked at dreams as divine revelation.

In continuation, though a dream can be received by divine revelation, a person may lack the interpretation of it.

Not everyone who dreams knows the interpretation because God often gives dreams that are concealed.

In some other cases, He could give dream with mysteries attached to them. If this is the case, we must seek Him for interpretation.

Pharaoh, in Gen 41, had a dream but did not know its interpretation. Pharaoh sought Joseph for interpretation.

Joseph had two dreams of which the interpretation was later vindicated, Gen 37:5-10. 42: 6-9.

In the prison of Egypt, he had the interpretation for the two dreams of the baker and the cup bearer, Gen 40.

In Dan 4, Nebuchadnezzar had a dream but did not have the interpretation. Daniel interpreted it to him.

Besides God using the mysteries behind dreams to elevate Joseph and Daniel, these examples show us how important dreams are and that we should never neglect their interpretations.

The approaches of those who sought interpretations to their dreams teach us the following.

First, how important dreams are. We must seek all available righteous means to seek interpretation.

Second, these examples teach us that just because a dream is not clear does not mean it is not from God. Just because a dream is scary does not mean it is not from God.

Third, these teach us that God is a mystery, and hidden secrets can only be found from God.

Fourth, not understanding your dream may frustrate you from pursuing it.

Seek godly counsel. Do not abandon your dreams.

You can ask God to lead you to godly counsel.

Better still, you can ask God to give you the *_....understanding in all visions and dreams...._* Dan 1:17.

He gave Daniel, so He can give you.

*_Remorse Corner_*

Do not go to sorcerers for the interpretation of your dreams.

*_Call to Word action_*

*_Daniel 2:22_* *He revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him.*

*_The Christian clarion duty_*

God is deep!

*_Rom 11:33_* *O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!*

*Prayer.*

Lord, give me the understanding of visions and dreams in Jesus name.

Good morning all, and have a blessed day today.

God bless you.
