We must pray not to be deprived of dreams of divine revelation to which God has given us the liberty to receive.

Dreams are common to all mankind.
We all dream, Job 33:15.
They come in three ways.
Dreams are in three folds.
First, dreams come as divine revelation. A revelation from God, disclosing to humans of God's future purpose or plan. A revelation from God to reveal or uncover something not yet known but shall surely come to pass.
Second, dreams as visions, desires, aspirations, goals, etc.
Third, dreams as fantasies, what we crave for, what we covet after in our hearts.
Today, we will look at the first definition of dreams as divine revelation disclosing to humans of God's future purpose or plan.
God author dreams. This is divine revelation.
He engages dreams as a part of His revelational plan in shaping the destinies of His people. We all dream, and it is His will that we dream. He says in Joel 2:28 *".....your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:*
A divine revelation is sent to reveal or uncover something not yet known but shall surely come to pass.
Joseph's dreams in Gen 37:5-11, the baker and cup bearer's dreams in
Gen 40:8-14, Pharaoh's dream in Gen 41.
We must pray that God grants us this divine privilege and never to miss them.
Divine dreams have saved lives.
Abimelech, the king of Gerar, who took Sarah as a wife, was told by God in a dream *Behold, thou art but a dead man, for the woman which thou hast taken; for she is a man's wife* Gen 20:3.
The three wisemen were warned by God, in a dream *"....that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way.*
Matt 2:12.
Matt 2:19-20 tells us that when Herod died, *".....an angel of the Lord appeareth in a dream to Joseph in Egypt,*
*Saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and go into the land of Israel: for they are dead which sought the young child's life.*
God warned Laban through a dream not to mess with Jacob. God told him, *"Take heed that thou speak not to Jacob either good or bad."*
In Gen 31:10, God revealed the breeding program that would prosper Jacob in a dream. This helped Jacob.
He *".....increased exceedingly,...."* Gen 30:31-43.
It may be a divine dream that you need to prosper you.
Do not toy with divine revelation.
Pray to God to open your ears and seal your mind with instructions when you sleep.

Dreams from God can place you in your destiny.

Unknown to Pharaoh and the Hebrew children, God gave Pharaoh a dream to shape the destiny of His people. It was his dream that brought Israel to Egypt.
Gen 41: 1 *And it came to pass at the end of two full years, that Pharaoh dreamed: and, behold, he stood by the river.*
*The Christian clarion duty.*
God can reveal mysteries to you in a dream. Tell Him to keep you alert in your dreams.

Lord, keep me spiritually alert when l sleep. Open my ears and mind, and seal them with divine instructions, in Jesus name.
