*DEALING WITH YOUR FOUNDATION.*

Exd 2:1-2 ,10 *And there went a man of the house of Levi, and took to wife a daughter of Levi.*
*And the woman conceived, and bare a son....*
*And the child grew, and she brought him unto Pharaoh's daughter, and he became her son. And she called his name Moses:.....*

Genesis 49:5, 7 *Simeon and Levi are brethren; instruments of cruelty are in their habitations.*
*Cursed be their anger, for it was fierce; and their wrath, for it was cruel:.....*
*Scripture Commentaries.*
From Jacob's blessing on his twelve sons, we can see the bad effect of anger.
First, no matter how you try to pacify angry people, they will not yield.
Second, when they execute their anger, they commit irreparable damage, Gen 34.
The defining action of Levi along with Simeon seems to take its toil on Levi more than it did on Simeon.
Moses was from the tribe of Levi.
There were other notable descendants of Levi. Besides Moses, there were Aaron, Miriam, Samuel, Ezra, Malachi, etc, but none was most affected by
anger besides Moses.
At the scene of the water of Meribah, Levi's faulty foundation of anger was waiting for Moses as a descendant.
The curse on Levi by Jacob for his descendants' anger was also waiting for Moses because he was scattered from Israel. He did not lead the people to Canaan. He was separated from them.
Though Moses came later to bless Levi (Deut 33) for their allegiance to God at the scene of the golden calf, the two that got into the promised land were Caleb, the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua, the son of Nun, Numb 14:30.
None was a Levite. Caleb was of the tribe of Judah, Numb 13:6, and Joshua was from the tribe of Ephraim, Numb 13:8, 16.
His faulty foundation made sure it found fulfillment by not making him
finish well, though he started well.
Moses's anger, by God's mercy, did not affect his eternal destination of Heaven, but not everyone like Moses fulfilled eternal destiny, ref Rom 9;15.
Do you have malice, anger, or the likes of the other works of the flesh in Gal 5:19-21?
Where is your faulty foundation waiting for you?

A faulty foundation is like sin that *.....lieth at the door....*, Gen 4:7.
*Call to Word action.*
Your faulty foundation may be waiting for you like it did for Moses, *......And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it.”*, Gen 4:7c
*The Christian clarion duty.*
Do not allow your faulty foundation to make your journey half-way in life.
*Prayer.*
Lord, help me to deal with flesh on which faulty foundation feeds on. Let me not be a victim of lineage related curses in Jesus name.
