GOD HAS EVERYTHING TO GIVE YOU!

Updated: Nov 17, 2021

Rom 8:32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

Insight and Highlight

Psalm 103:5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.

Scripture Commentaries

It is inconceivable to any mortal mind how God can feed every living thing He creates.

The truth is God has not withheld any good thing from us, Ps 84:11.

Psalm 145:16 Thou openest thine hand and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.

Psalm 104:28 That thou givest them they gather: thou openest thine hand, they are filled with good.

He rewards diligent hard work, Heb 6:11, 11:6.

Those who are unable to sow or reap, who are not as the hardworking ant (Prov 6:6-8), He provides for them. Matt 6:26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?

Job 38:41 Who provides food for the raven when its young cry out to God as they wander about for lack of food?

Psalm 104:27 All creatures look to You to give them their food in due season.

Life is full of ups and downs.

There is a possibility that a man will have all it takes to work, earn yet not find pasture.

We still need a lead and a guide to the still waters, Ps 23:2.

Bible tells us of famine and drought. Only God can satisfy us in drought, (Is 58:11).

Where there is plenty of food there can be the inability to eat to satisfaction or fullness. Some see food yet their appetite is not satisfied, Eccl 6:7. Craving for wealth and increase do not satisfy our desires, Ecl 5:10.

People eat the bread of affliction, Is 30:20.

Even the rich have sorrows, Eccl 5:13-14.

Hard work does not guarantee success, Rom 9:16. Only in Christ can we have fulfillment.

We must remind ourselves of all these.

In all life's futilities, God still gives us the ability: the skills, knowledge, professionalism to feed our families but the power for daily provision, to make wealth still rest with God. Therefore, it is important to look up to God, pray for our daily need.

Have you thanked Him today for giving you all things?

Remorse corner

If you believe it is only in God you have your being, and that it is only in Him you live, you will daily prayerfully thank and ask God to give you your daily bread

Acts 17:28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

Call to Word action

Matthew 6:11 Give us this day our daily bread.

The Christian clarion duty

Psalm 107:9 For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.

In spite of having plenty, we still go hungry needing to eat. As long as the hunger for food and thirst for water is still with us. We must live to thank God, always.

Remember not all who go hungry or thirsty have the fulfillment to survive.

Prayer

2 Pet 1:3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

Lord, l am grateful for giving me all things that pertain to life. I thank you for not withholding any good thing from me, my family, and Your Church. Thank you, Jesus, in Jesus' name.

Good morning all and have a blessed day today.

God bless you.
