WHO WILL YOU FOLLOW THIS YEAR? (2)

1 Thess 2:13 For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.
Insight and Highlight
Even at the word of God, there are people who are neutral or against, till the cause is successful.
If you are willing to follow Christ this year, be ready to avoid people who suppress convictions. They are natural men who do not discern spiritual things, Rom 8:7, 1 Cor 2:14.
Caleb saw the milk and honey in the land of Cannan that they went to spy out. It was not that he and Joshua did not see the giants in the land but they did not allow their sights to take over their faith, Numb 13:30, 14:30
They walked by faith, 2 Cor 5:7.
Not many people are willing to take risks. This category of people shrinks from committing themselves. All they see is the possibility of failure. Of a truth, they see failure more than they see success.
However, there are people who see visions shared as "of God."
The Apostle Paul, In 1Thessalonians 2:13, St. Paul contrasts the readiness of his disciples in receiving his gospel, not as "of man," but as "of God,"
Who will you follow this year?
Though it may appear difficult, waiters of God's providence do not remain neutral or against, but they strive to thrive till a cause of God, is successful.
Call to Word action
Joshua and Caleb saw the mission to take over the land of Cannan as "of God" not "of man", Numb 14:6-8
The Christian clarion duty
Resistance to what is "of God" is needless, it is a waste of energy and because it is needless, it is hopeless to resist.
1 Thess 2:13 "...the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.
