Scripture Commentaries
People who are afraid of witches and wizards or who are of such minds that believe pleasing or appeasing them would make them back down should ask themselves what they have achieved appeasing the wicked. I am sure the answer is: nothing!
Many people are deceived, believing the wicked must be begged, pacified, embellished with pleasantries so that they would stop their wickedness.
Isaiah 26:10 makes it clear, the wicked will not learn righteousness though it be shown favor.
There is nothing achievable, no protection or deliverance from the devil is secured when people are advised to appease the gods.
The wicked cannot be appeased even by gifts. Only through Christ can the gods and the wicked of this world be destroyed.
Be not afraid of the wicked or their gods. The Apostle Paul says they are nothing in this world: 1Cor 8:4 "....we know that an idol is nothing in the world and that there is none other God but one.
Jesus says in Matthew 12:28 But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.
Do not appease the gods but with the authority of Christ command and cast out Satan, his demons, and his gods!

Be not surprised of evil activities in this world. They are only operating under God's permissive will.
Forget not and do not neglect to overcome prayers. Do not compromise with the devil.

Psalm 7:9 Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous...", in Jesus name.
