Insight and Highlight
Before you break your silence to be angry, pause, think.
Anger is an uncontrollable bug, the unseen destroyer of golden silence, James 1:19.
The sad marks and trails of anger are still with us. Anger brings nothing good but harm, Psa 37:8
Anger is desperate to destroy and it does destroy Eccl 7:9.
It makes the angry volatile, it makes his relations with others sour. Bible admonishes we avoid angry people, Prov 22:24.
The future of the angry person is miserable unless he deals with it, Eph 4:31, Col 3:8.
Anger is an unseen irritant of the heart, the relentless invader of silence in a peaceful gathering, Prov 29:22.
Bitterness grows like a tumor and becomes malignant and infectious through a ravage noise of war across all, Prov 29:8.
If not quelled, the louder it gets the more agitation and languages of war, vengeful retaliation it brings. Anger brings outburst eruption of emotions creeping around and not going away, Prov 27:15.
Proverbs 29:8 Scornful men bring a city into a snare: but wise men turn away wrath.
Pacify anger, do not escalate it.
Proverbs 15:1 A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.
Call to Word action
You can be your own good manager of your temperament. Let your anger go as quickly as it came on you
Ephesians 4:26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
The Christian clarion duty
You may not be able to justify your anger before God. When you see anger coming, be quiet! Remember, no one can quote silence!
James 1:20: For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.
Proverbs 19:11 The discretion of a man deferreth his anger; and it is his glory to pass over a transgression.
Lord, help me to overcome anger, in Jesus name.
