ARE YOU WEARY?
Updated: Nov 18
Isaiah 40:29-31 He giveth power to the faint, and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary, and they shall walk, and not faint.
Insight and Highlight
Are you are tired, tempted to quit because of troubles and frustrations?
There will come a time when the wicked will cease troubling and the weary will be at rest.
Are you weary, are you troubled? Are you worried? Are you already giving up on yourself and life?
You cannot handle life because It will not give you what you deserve!
First remember, only the Giver of life can give life meaning and can make life meaningful for you.
Psalm 37:5 Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him, and he shall bring it to pass.
Psalm 37:4 Delight thyself also in the LORD, and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
The Christian's life is full of twists and turns. We find ourselves, often restless, we curve, change directions often.
We move with twisting motions: we change positions, moods, and at times, we find ourselves at a crossroad: a point at which a crucial decision must be made that will have far-reaching consequences.
Paul was at a crossroad; Php 1:23 For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better:
Much prayer, little to show for it, much work, little gain, loss on investments, relationship storms, sickness, etc.
Whichever way you find yourself, do not quit! 1 Cor 16:13 Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.
Is your soul downcast?
Psalm 42:11 Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.
