Psalm 42:11 Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.

Insight and Highlight

Life's challenges are a mystery and an irony.

We can be hopeful for others going through trying times but when it comes to us we are most inconsolable.

Scripture Commentaries

The first step to dealing with our hopelessness and miserableness is to hope in God.

David said "Why art thou cast down, O my soul....hope thou in God:...", Ps 42:5, 6, 11,

In Christ, Alone is sure and assured hope both here and in glory, Col 1:27.

Most of our hopes are in ourselves and other people.

Most of us trust our physicians, notable people, creams of society, and professionals more than we trust God.

Know for sure, no matter how great, influential a person may be, he/she is mortal, fallible, and incapable of taking away our problems. People get tired but God is ever present with you in times of trouble (Ps 46:1) but you have to trust and believe in His ability to do all things.

Hope sees the bright side in any darkness.

Hope sees a silver lining in every dark situation. Hope tells you to continue to go assuring you that there is a bright path ahead, ref Rom 4:18-21.

There is no hopelessness in God!

Will you hope in Him today?

Remorse corner

Direct and instruct your soul to hope in God.

Believe that as long as God retains His breath in you, there is hope for living for you.

Job 14:7 For there is the hope of a tree if it is cut down, that it will sprout again, and that the tender branch thereof will not cease.

Call to Word action

Are you like a tree cut down, you see no way out but compromise or death?

Jesus says in Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

The Christian clarion duty

Total surrender, total submission are vital and key for the hopeless to receive hope that brings fulfillment.

Job 14:8-9 Though the root thereof wax old in the earth, and the stock thereof die in the ground;

Yet through the scent of water it will bud, and bring forth boughs like a plant.

In the name of Jesus, I will hope in God. l will bud and flourish because there is no hopelessness in God.

Good morning all and have a blessed day today.

God bless you.
