REACH OUT, TAKE HOLD OF HIS HANDS

Matthew 14:28-31 And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?

Insight and Highlight

Jesus saves us from many dangers.

He saved Peter first, then rebukes the wind. Matt 14:28 And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased.

Scripture Commentaries

Jesus saves and He still does use circumstances and people to save us.

When it comes to delivering us from evil, Christ uses the universe as a university.

Most times, if not all times, He uses people to deliver people.

We must always be sensitive to God's help through fellow human beings.

Many have died untimely because they refused help rendered them in time of danger.

When help comes to you in times of trouble, it is an answer to your prayers requesting

God's help.

It may be from the most unlikely person.

Do not say you are alright when your most needed help comes your way.

Take advantage of it because none may come your way afterward.

Naaman almost lost the opportunity to get healed but for his servant who advised to obey and go wash in the Jordan., 2 Kgs 5:13

When you are faced with life's challenges, call on God and be sensitive to His help through people that come your way. They may appear most unlikely to provide solutions to your problem yet they may also be the answers to your problems.

There is help with God. He still saves through people and life rescues.

Reach out and take hold of the Hands-on top of the hands extended to help you.

Remorse corner

There is an English saying which goes: "a drowning man will clutch at a straw". This means a person in a very dangerous situation will take advantage of any help to salvage his situation.

Call to Word action

2 Kgs 5:13 And his servants came near, and spake unto him, and said, My father, if the prophet had bid thee do some great thing, wouldest thou not have done it? how much rather then, when he saith to thee, Wash, and be clean?

The Christian clarion duty

If you are praying for God's help, ask Him to open your eyes to see your God sent help. God is never late, do not miss your God sent help.

Prayer

Lord, help me to see and discern when You send help my way, in Jesus name.

Good morning all and have a blessed day today.

God bless you.
