Scripture Commentaries
The bible speaks of the heart as fundamental to the attitude of every human being, Jer 17:9-10.
Prov 4:23 says we guide it with all diligence because all the issues of life come from it.
Jesus says in Matt 15:17-20 ".....those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart, and they defile the man...."
Jesus further said only those who are pure in heart with see God, Matt 5:8.
We must always ask for a clean heart, a renewing of our minds, that we may please God, forget the bitterness, the wounds of yesterday
Do you wish to see God in glory, in His glory?
Do you want to see His power, forgiveness?
Let your heart be pure!

Prayer
Lord, purify my heart. Give me an open and pure heart, a generous heart, a heart of gratitude, a heart that is overflowing with joy, in Jesus name.
