*WHO IS THE WITCH, WHO IS THE WIZARD? (5)*

Acts 9: 22-24 *But Saul increased the more in strength and confounded the Jews which dwelt at Damascus, proving that this is very Christ.*
*And after that many days were fulfilled, the Jews took counsel to kill him:*
*But their laying await was known of Saul. And they watched the gates day and night to kill him*
*Insight and Highlight.*
It is witchcraft, to unite, conspire, or take counsel to kill someone.
*Scripture Commentaries.*
People who take counsel from the ungodly are ungodly themselves.
Psalm 1:1 admonishes us not to walk in their counsel.
The Jews took counsel to kill Paul.
The only spirit that will conspire to kill can only be the spirit of witchcraft: a spirit of Satan.
In 1 Sam 15:23a, the prophet Samuel described Saul's wilful disobedience of God's command as rebellion against Him. He said Saul's rebellion was witchcraft.
He further said Saul's disobedience was nothing else than the deadly sin of idol-worship.
In Paul's estimation of the works of the flesh, witchcraft is closely followed by idolatry, Gal 5:20a.
Little wonder why Samuel's word to Saul had these two henious sins closely intertwined.
Samuel said, *For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry.....*
In the same Gal 5:20, strife is followed by sedition. These are two of other vices of rebellion that find expression in dissension and variance also mentioned by Paul in Gal 5:20.
You may say you do not belong to a cult or coven, but you could afterall be a principality in the making
When you revolt or lead an insurrection against the will and purpose of God, you are setting God, your Master, aside and virtually acknowledging another.
Walking in the counsel of the ungodly, or standing in the way of sinners, or sitting in the seat of the scornful is rebellion against God (ref Psalm 1:1)
This is a form of rebellion that acknowledges another master besides Jesus is idolatry.
The Jews join hand in hand with others (Prov 11:21) in order to kill Paul was a direct violation of the sixth commandment, Exd 20:13.
To kill accords with the devil's three fold ministry of *....to kill to steal and to destroy,* John 10:10a.
Jesus further says any hatred of another is as committing the sin of murder, 1 John 3:15.
Many witches or wizards may be on the loose without having affinity or recognition by any council of witches. They may not belong to the witches' covenant group but may before God be counted as part of them.
Many people may not know that any evil vice they practice could suggest their fraternity with witchcraft.
Any form of evil, for example, conspiracy and revolt, is an agent of the spirit of Satan.
If you commit evil, you are best described as a 'familiar spirit'.
You are referred as such because you are manifesting 'close friendship' that helps facilitate witchcraft.
The Jews who took counsel to kill Paul had 'familiar spirits' of Satan. Though they were not referred to as witches or wizards but they had all it takes to operate as witches and wizards do.
They had everything common in witchcraft, and these are:
First, they bound themselves with an oath to kill, Acts 23:21, 30.
Second, they were united with a common purpose to kill Acts 9:23. They were not a people divided against themselves, ref Mark 3:24.
Third, they are very committed to their agenda, ref John 10:10a, and were investigative to get any approval or clearance to support their evil agenda, Acts 9:1, Acts 23:21.
Fourth, they fasted too in order to accomplish an evil agenda, Acts 23:13-14.
Fifth, they can be patient to achieve their evil purpose. They lay snares, Psa 35:7, 119:85, 110, 140:5. They keep watching, surveillance, track, stalk, Acts 9:24, 25:3
People who operate in these vices often consult diviners for powers and
these are all ways all witches and wizards originate, descend, and operate.
People of these vices can not operate on their own without eventually agreeing to be part of clans united to form a single domain of witchcraft.
If you have a spirit that loves evil, you have a 'familiar spirit' that will resist God's will, and you are practicing witchcraft and wizardry. It will not take much time before you become a companion and a covenant group of witches and wizards.

1 Chron 13:13-14 *So Saul died for his transgression which he committed against the Lord, even against the word of the Lord, which he kept not, and also for asking counsel of one that had a familiar spirit, to enquire of it;*
*And enquired not of the Lord: therefore he slew him,....*'
*The Christian clarion duty.*
Do not rebel against God. It is disobedience. Seeking, walking in the company of the ungodly, and accepting their counsel is witchcraft. It is an abomination before God. Punishment for witchcraft is just as gruesome as practicing witchcraft itself.
*Prayer.*
Lord, may l not worship man-made God, in Jesus name.
