Psalm 119:67– Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now I obey your word.
Insight and Highlight
Do you believe there is hope in Christ?
Life's challenges may threaten but be not afraid of anything being taken from you as long as Christ is left you.
Christ in you, the hope of glory, Col 1:27.
You will not be altogether hopeless so long as Christ, who is our hope, still speaks His faithful promises to you.
Do not concentrate on the dark and sorrowful side of life but fix your eyes on Jesus, the Bright Morning Star, Rev 22:16.
It is through Christ that you are able to face and overcome tough times.
Never lose the love for and of Christ.
Challenges are real dangers. The forces militating against the love for God are as real as the air we breathe. We must carefully build a spiritual guard against them and focus on the love for our Christ.
Call to Word action
1 Cor 15:19– If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.
The Christian clarion duty
Your challenges are not to make you go astray from God. They are sent to teach you things about God you could not learn any other way.
I come against the power of the enemies that are posing real threats against my love for Christ, in Jesus' name.
