*WISDOM FOR TODAY.*

*TELL THEM "YOU DO NOT KNOW!" (5)*

*Scripture Treasure.*

Ecclesiastes 1:14 *I have seen all the works that are done under the sun; and, behold, all is vanity and vexation of spirit.*

*Insight and Highlight.*

Those who search God are in for an endless search.

*Scripture Commentaries.*

Those who search for God are in for an endless and unfruitful search.

If any embark on a search for who created God, then they need to prepare to search for the one who created the one who created God and so on.

It is endless and unfruitful as expected of this kind of endeavor.

If anyone continues to corrupt people's minds on the supremacy of God, God can take life out of such a person.

People do what they do and justify themselves in their sinful and spiteful manners against God.

Is it because they are still living?

Eccl 2:26 says God gives wisdom to those who are pleasing to Him. Though we acquire education, the wisdom of how to apply it still rests in God. Many learned people are behind the world's problems today.

Eccl 1:17 says when we search for wisdom, know-how, leaving God out, Solomon says it. *"....is a pursuit of the wind"*.

Eccl 6:9 identifies the *"...wandering desire..."* of the children of men.

It further goes on this wandering desire of the children of men exhorting them to enjoy what they have rather than desiring what they did not have.

It says, *"Enjoy what you have rather than desiring what you do not have.*"Solomon says this ,*"....is meaningless—like chasing the wind."* (NIV)

It can be used to explain that people who have inordinate ambitions can have wandering desires, which results in chasing the wind.

Do not chase the wind, or better still, do not follow or be persuaded by people who do so.

We all need to enjoy what God has to offer us through His inspired word.

Limit yourself to God's word. Solomon says, seeking God more than He has revealed is

asking for more than God has given: Eccl 1:18 *For in much wisdom is much grief: and he that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow.*

lf anyone asks you where God comes from, tell them you do not know.

Tell them God is great and greatly to be praised. He is from everlasting to everlasting.

*Remorse corner.*

People who set their minds to know wisdom outside God will add madness and folly to it

Eccl 1:17 *So I set my mind to know wisdom and madness and folly; I learned that this, too, is a pursuit of the wind.*

*Call to Word.*

Those who put in all they could against God in order to add to their accomplishments will have nothing to gain.

Eccl 2:11 *Yet when I considered all the works that my hands had accomplished and what I had toiled to achieve, I found everything to be futile, a pursuit of the wind; there was nothing to be gained under the sun.*

*The Christian clarion duty.*

People who do anything, leaving God out will find life under the sun grevious.

Eccl 2:17 *So I hated life because the work that is done under the sun was grievous to me. For everything is futile and a pursuit of the wind.*

*Prayer.*

Lord, help me not to be persuaded to follow those who contend God.

Let me believe and obey according to His revealed word in the scriptures, in Jesus name.

Good morning all, and have a blessed day.

God bless you.
