Insight and Highlight Jeremiah 20:9 ► But if I say, "I will not mention his word or speak anymore in his name," his word is in my heart like a fire, a fire shut up in my bones. I am weary of holding it in; indeed, I cannot. Scripture Commentaries The Prophet Jeremiah explained that a carrier of God's power cannot hold it but to do the bidding of God.. We must continually seek to burn for God. Be on fire for God! People who do are restless for God, they are pacesetter and goal getters. They never rest until something is achieved for God. They are undone until God's work is done. You cannot have the fire, yet be cold to the things of God. You cannot carry the fire, yet be lukewarm to anything of God. You will be so overwhelmed by passion and love for God that you will not be able to contain it. Remorse corner Fire produces light and sparks. It is hot! Be not cold, but hot. Call to Word action Revelation 3:16 ► So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth The Christian clarion duty Fire does not rest burning until it consumes.
