*OUT NUMBERED OR OUT ORGANIZED.(6)*

*Scripture Treasure.*

Joshua 5:13-15 *And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries?*

*And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the Lord am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my Lord unto his servant?*

*And the captain of the Lord's host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua did so.*

*Insight and Highlight.*

God has an organized army.

*Scripture Commentaries.*

As much as God loves, He can fight.

God is a man of war.

God is highly organized, and He fights, leaving His enemies with no hope of survival.

This is well expressed in Heb 12:29 *"for our God is a consuming fire.*

The Lord's army can outnumber and disorganize Satan's and any nation's army.

Many enemies God fought are no more and have remained extinct.

When God fights, He fights to finish. Notable are Sodom and Gomorrah, Capernaum, Tyre and Sidon, and Babylon ref Matt 11:21.

He has hosts of armies with supreme military commanders and army chiefs whom He heads.

These can be described as members of the Heavenly war room.

Prominent is angel Michael, and there is an information room managed by Angel Gabriel, Dan 8:16, 9:21, Lk 1:19, 26

These two angels, because of their notable mentions, lead an innumerable host of God's army.

Angel Michael is notable as an angel of war, a warrior angel who fights against Satan and evil spirits, Rev 12:7–12.

He is also mentioned in Dan 10:12 as *".....one of the chief princes,...."* who came to help to bring Daniel out of his distress.

Dan 12:1 refers to him as the *"......great prince which standeth for the children of thy people:...."*

'Heavenly hosts' is used as the office of the Lord's army, Joshua 5:13-15 and in Revelation 19.

In Joshua, the captain of the Lord's host is God.

Rev 19 tells us that the heavenly host ride the white horse with an insignia written that says *"King of Kings, and Lord of Lords."*

As the Lord of Host, He is Jehovah Sabaoth, Isaiah 47:4, Jer 50:33-34; 51:14.

Ps 24: 7-10 calls Him the King of Glory and the Lord of Host.

Psalm 46 :7, 11 refers to the Lord as the *"Lord of hosts ...."*

The words "heavenly host"and the Lord of Hosts are words of title that tell us God fights, and He fights for His people.

Are you in the Lord's army?

It is important you are, ref 2 Tim 2:3–4, Philippians 2:25.

When you are, He becomes your Captain.

You can not lose with God as Your Captain and Captain of the hosts of Heaven.

*Remorse corner.*

You know a person is organized by his spiritual exploits.

Daniel 11:32 *And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.*

*Call to Word action.*

God controls all wars, ref Ps 46:9.

Ex 15:3 *The Lord is a man of war: the Lord is his name.*

*The Christian clarion duty.*

The Captain of the Lord's host presence before the conquest of Jericho is a reminder that God is ahead of us and ever present in our spiritual battles, to provide

encouragement, guidance, and strength to face the battle.

*Prayer.*

Lord, go before me and be present with me in the battle of life. Let Your Heavenly hosts outnumber and outorganize my enemies, in Jesus name.

Good morning all, and have a blessed day.

God bless you.
