*WISDOM FOR TODAY.* *NO ONE CAN STAND IN THE WAY OF GOD.* *Scripture Treasure.* Isaiah 59:1-2 ► *Behold, the LORD'S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:* *But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.* *Insight and Highlight.* God is too powerful enough to break through any obstacle but sin can limit God from doing exploits. *Scripture Commentaries.* God hates sin. God cannot be restricted or limited but when sin is evident, He has no choice than to limit His power in the lives of people. This is because His eyes are so pure that He cannot behold the sight of sin. Hab 1:13 ► *"Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity:...."* For example, He rejected David with a seemingly good heart to build for Him 1 Chron 17:4, because he had shed too much blood, 1 Chro 28:3, Isaiah 1:15 He allowed King Saul to die a miserable way because of Saul's transgressions against Him, 1 Chron 10:13. God is not a respecter of persons, when He spares and let go, it is out His mercy. When we fail to respect God's laid down commands or boundaries we lose more than gain. *Remorse corner.* When sin is in the way, God will not hear. He may, even, decide not hear His intercessors when they intercede on behalf of a rebellious people. Jeremiah 15:1 ► *Then said the LORD unto me, Though Moses and Samuel stood before me, yet my mind could not be toward this people: cast them out of my sight, and let them go forth.* Ezekiel 14:14 ► *"...then even if these three men--Noah, Daniel, and Job--were in it, their righteousness could deliver only themselves, declares the Lord GOD.* *Call to Word action.* Do not limit God. *The Christian clarion duty.* Though God is limitless in power, our wrong choices could limit His limitlessness. *Prayer.* Psalm 118:20 ► *This is the gate of the LORD; the righteous shall enter through it.* Lord, count me righteous to enter through your gates and hear me when l call, in Jesus name.
