FROM GLORY TO GLORY

2 Cor 3:18 ► But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Insight and Highlight Every child born has a glory. No one is without one and no one born was without one. God said to Abraham, Genesis 22:18 ► ....And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice. Scripture Commentaries God loves glory and dwells in glory. Zech 2:5 ► For I, saith the LORD, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her. Everyone has a glory, so do the firmaments/galaxies, 1 Cor 15:41. All our lives started one day and we scale through life as a journey. People go from setback to comeback, story to glory. Some people are crushed in life at the setback stage or at the story/intial stages of their lives. They do not attain glory to the end. Their lives end abruptly: Isaiah 10:3 ► And what will ye do in the day of visitation, and in the desolation which shall come from far? to whom will ye flee for help? and where will ye leave your glory? Glory can be stolen, John 10:10. Glory can be delayed, Gen 37: 18-36, some people's glories are tampered with or truncated, Hosea 9:11 ► As for Ephraim, their glory shall fly away like a bird, from the birth, and from the womb, and from the conception. Some, their glories are exchanged for shame, Hosea 4:7 ► As they were increased, so they sinned against me: therefore will I change their glory into shame. God places so strong an importance on glory that He does not share His with anyone, Isa 42:8. So likewise Christ came saying in John 17:22: ► I have given them the glory You gave Me, so that they may be one, even as we are one: So in Christ, John 1:14 says "...(and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only Begotten of the Father),.." Glories are lost in diverse ways. However, in Christ, glories are restored and sustained by the Glory of the Father and being in Christ John 17:24 ► Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world. A life in Christ is a life of glory to glory. Be like Apostle Paul in Php 3:13 ► "...but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, Get set for Glory to Glory! Remorse corner Guard the glory you have beheld in Christ. Allow nothing to steal the glory ahead of you. Call to Word action Gods perfect will for us is to go from glory to glory. We shall even receive one for eternity: 1 Peter 5:4 ► And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away. The Christian clarion duty Isaiah 58:8 says if we follow Spirit's obligation in prayer, fasting and dilligent services, "....the glory of the LORD will be your rear guard." Pray fervently that the glory will not be lost. Prayer Lord, allow not my glory to fly away. Let not glory destroyers truncate my glory. I remain under your Everlasting Arms to go from glory to glory, in Jesus name. Good morning all and welcome to the month of May, our month of GLORY TO GLORY. Without any doubt, l decree this month, shall be a month of GLORY TO GLORY for you and family, in Jesus name. God bless you.
