*WISDOM FOR TODAY.* *YOU ARE NO PUSH OVER.* *Scripture Treasure.* Gal 5:1 (NIV) *It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.* *Insight and Highlight.* The righteous is bold as a lion. However, while we stand against being pushovers, whatever we stand for in Christ must never be a platform to justify sin, unbiblical practices, anger, rudeness, retaliation, meanness, unfriendliness, etc. *Scripture Commentaries.* A pushover is someone who is easy to overcome or influenced. God does not want us to be gullible, easily defeated or taken advantage of. The Christian is severally admonished in the scriptures to know when or not to refute allegations yet not losing his value and worth as a Christian made in the image of a creative and loving God. James 4:7 ► *Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.* Key to our stand in Christ in the midst of enemy confrontation is the word of the Holy Spirit to direct us in such situation. Does it seem you are being taken advantage of as a Christian? Listen first to the Spirit's direction whether or not to react. *Remorse corner.* Proverbs 15:28 *The heart of the righteous ponders how to answer, but the mouth of the wicked blurts out evil.* *Call to Word action.* 1 Pet 3:15 ► *But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:* *The Christian clarion duty.* The Fruit of the Spirit have nothing to do with being a pushover. Always remember 1 Pet 3:16 *Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.* *Prayer* Isaiah 7: 16 *"For before the child shall know to refuse the evil, and choose the good,....."* Lord, in the midst of enemy assault teach me how to refuse evil and choose the good in defense, in Jesus name. Good morning all and have a blessed day, today. God bless you.
