*WISDOM FOR TODAY.*
*WISE BUILDERS OF WEALTH.*
*Scripture Treasure.*
Proverbs 28:20 *A faithful man will abound with blessings, but whoever hastens to be rich will not go unpunished.*
*Insight and Highlight.*
Proverbs 16:8:
*Better is a little with righteousness than great revenues with injustice".*
*Scripture Commentaries.*
Though you are a believer in Christ, you are not expected to believe everything.
In the investment world, if you believe everything, you will fall for anything.
Money makes investment, Eccl 10:19. Wisdom builds, Prov 9:1, 24:3. Both are a defense and *".....the excellency of knowledge is, that wisdom giveth life to them that have it."*, Eccl 7:12.
Having both money and wisdom are two fundamentals of stable and prosperous life.
So the investment world is about capital invested (money)and the return on capital invested (ROI), [profit].
Below are some investment tips.
First, be wise as an investor. Be wise in money management.
People lose money while investing to make more money.
In every investment there is a risk portfolio and careful market watchers/operatives on the market cycle tend to inform of which market is rising or declining (this is called the bulls or the bears market respectively).
It is safe and is wisdom to first start investing with little to test the waters when you are investing.
This is because there are high stake/risk stocks which, though may be promising but may not be as such, for example, emerging markets.
In such a market investment, you are not sure of, remember, it is best to invest little at the beginning.
Second, be careful when you are offered much more than reasonable for putting in a small investment.
This is most common when a promised return on your investment is too high over a short period of time.
It is most likely that the investment carries a high-risk portfolio.
A handsome ROI on 'double your money'
could be your reasonable suspicion that something sinister and dangerous is involved in the deal, business, or transaction.
A handsome reward has the ability to make one willfully turn a blind eye to the content of any transaction.
They are too good to be true and too good to be ignored propositions.
Always know that the returns you expect for any given investment should not be too high proportionate to what you put in.
There may even be an enticement to contribute little to what others have contributed.
Any request that pushes you to the limit in order to sign without giving you time to read, understand, and ponder over the agreement is an undue influence. Let no one take undue advantage of your trust. Familiarity, family love, or relationship may influence, coarse, or manipulate your trust if adequate care is not taken by you.
While the propositions to double may sound good, always remember there are thousands that have failed.
You must operate in the maxim that says 'Let the buyer beware'.
'Double your money' is a function of greed, and you may be pushed to bribe in order that you accelerate the execution of the investment.
Proverbs 15:27: *He who is greedy for unjust gain brings trouble on his household, but he who hates bribes will live.*
Third, there is no guarantee of return on investment in any market. Your return on investment is determined by the market forces of demand and supply. Most attimes, forces like health scare, and rumors affect these two market forces.
It may be understandable that every investor wants to quickly earn a quick return on their money invested.
This is why many market brokers/operatives woo investors by luring them to high yields of their returns in short times, but let enough time be your guide.
If you rush in to invest, you will rush out.
Be a wise builder of wealth!
*Remorse corner.*
Be careful not to be tricked into accepting that there will be huge returns on investment for you at first. This may be a ploy to entice you to invest a second time. If you fall for it, nothing will come to you as returns.
*Call to Word action.*
Proverbs 13:11 *Wealth obtained from nothing dwindles, But one who gathers by labor increases it.*
*The Christian clarion duty.*
It is a guilty intention if you accept to enter into a business that you know is offering you returns that are propotionately too high for the money you invested.
Becareful.
*Prayer.*
Lord, give me both riches and wisdom in investment. Let me be a wise builder of wealth, in Jesus name.
Good morning all, and have a blessed day.
God bless you.
