WILL YOU STILL SAY

*WISDOM FOR TODAY.* *WILL YOU STILL SAY.....* *Scripture Treasure.* 2 Kings 4:26 ► *Run now, I pray thee, to meet her, and say unto her, Is it well with thee? is it well with thy husband? is it well with the child? And she answered, It is well.* *Insight and Highlight.* Will you still say, "it is well..." in trouble? *Scripture Commentaries.* People fall into hard times. Those who do not fall into these times pass through them at one point or the other. A prominent American lawyer named Spafford Horatio who helped build a Presbyterian congregation and hosted prayer meetings in their home. He was very influential and affluent and as a successful lawyer, he also invested in real estate. His bad times came when the Great fire of Chicago destroyed most of his investments. Most tragic was the loss of his three daughters in the Atlantic during a family vacation which he did not go but his wife was spared of the tragedy. Spafford wrote the hymn *It is well with my soul." After falling into bad times of financial loss and personal grief accompanied by a lack of support from their church community, he left pursuit of material success and embarked on spiritual prigilmage till his death. Job was also a sufferer for God's sake, so was Paul, Acts 20-28 What are you going through today? We are promised a better covenant, Heb 11: 40  *God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect* God still protects and He will save us from all evil. You will say "it is well", in victory not in sorrow. It is well with your soul, in Jesus name. *Remorse corner.* Remember God today. He is the only One who is able to save you from the evil to come. *Call to Word action.* Eccl 12:1 *Remember your Creator in the days of your youth before the days of trouble come and the years approach....."* *The Christian clarion duty.* Remember God goes before all things. He knows them before they happen. Call Him today! *Prayer.* Lord, be my present help in time of trouble, in Jesus name. Good morning and be blessed as you come into His presence today. God bless you.
