WHEN GOD NEEDS YOU......(2)
*WISDOM FOR TODAY.*
*WHEN GOD NEEDS YOU.....(2)*
*Scripture Treasure.*
Proverbs 1:24 (NLT) *I called you so often, but you wouldn’t come. I reached out to you, but you paid no attention.*
*Insight and Highlight.*
When God needs you, no one can stop Him except you.
*Insight and Highlight.*
Our worst enemy is Satan. Satan uses ignorance to fight us 1 Cor 4:4.
Satan limits our knowledge in order to make us ignorant. Paul warns us on ignorance, 2 Cor 2:11
When a person yields to Satan, he/she becomes an enemy of God.
Paul says in Rom 6:16 that we become servants to whom we obey.
So, for example, if we obey God, we will be His servants unto righteousness. If we obey Satan, we will be servants to sin. ln other words, Satan and sin will control us.
Everything was set for Saul the King.
He, however, became the enemy of his own glory when he yielded to disobedience, 1 Sam 13, 15.
Everything was set for David, but he became his own enemy of peace on the throne and in his family, 2 Sam 11 and 12.
So we see that the choice we make does make a big difference and will determine who we will be before God.
If God says 'come to me' but you refuse to come to Him. He will not conclude this to be solely Satan's work.
He will see you as cooperating with Satan against Him.
As some people cooperate with God so also some cooperate with Satan.
When people cooperate with Satan, they stand in their own ways to progress and God's blessings.
To cooperate with Satan opens a person's life to spells, enchantments, etc.
God does not want you to stand in your own way of His blessings to you.
This is because He has given you authority to resist every Satan's attempt to subdue or overcome you.
Are you finding it hard to obey God?
Ask God for help
Resist Satan. Tell him to keep His hands off you.
Work on yourself, and you will see how God will help you.
Do not be your own enemy!
*Remorse corner.*
God has already shown us how we can avoid being our own enemy.
Josh 24:15 *And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve;......but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.*
*Call to Word action.*
Micah 6:8 *He has shown you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you but to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?*
*The Christian clarion duty.*
Pray and choose God's way.
*Prayer.*
Lord, help me to follow You when you need me. Let me not go astray. Let me not stand in the way of Your blessings for my life, in Jesus name.
Good morning all and have a blessed day today.
God bless you.
