Daniel 5:27: *TEKEL; Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting,*
*Insight and Highlight.*
All our actions are weighed by God.
What will be your weight and worth when you are placed on the God's scale?
*Scripture Commentaries.*
God evaluates His people. You may not know. One day, who you are will be made known to you. Every believer must live with this consciousness.
Hannah writes in 1 Sam 2:3 *Talk no more so exceeding proudly; let not arrogancy come out of your mouth: for the LORD is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed.*
If you love God and you are confident you are pleasing Him, you will crave His evaluation.
Job writes in Job 31:6 *let God weigh me with honest scales, that He may know my integrity.*
Not everyone is as confident as Job was, at making this statement.
God has a standard on which everyone is daily evaluated. Proverbs 16:2 says *All a man's ways are pure in his own eyes, but his motives are weighed out by the LORD.*
It is dangerous to live or serve recklessly as believers.
Remember that the day your weight is presented to you will be marked by either or both of two events:
First, it may be you have been severally warned but you refused to change. If this is so, judgment is round the corner because your sins have reached a point of no return, Daniel 5.
Second, it may be that God needs you to quickly and immediately change your way in order to avert His judgment revealed to you ( ref Jesus' letters to the seven churches, Rev 1:11, Rev 2 & 3.
God carefully monitors all we do.
The king Belshazzar (his father was Nebuchadnezzar, Daniel 5:2) was visited in his prosperity. He was found wanting, he was living a miserable life. Judgment was imminent and he was judged, Daniel 5:30.
When you are weighed, will you measure up?
*Remorse corner.*
When God weighs, some will be inadequate to measure up, some will be found deficient, some will be found too light, some will be found lacking.
*Call to Word action.*
1 Corinthians 3:13 *Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.*

Hebrew 12:28: 28 *Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear".*
*Prayer.*
Lord let me serve you acceptably.
Let me not be found wanting, in Jesus name.
Good morning all and have a blessed day today.
God bless you
