Matthew 15:13.

*But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.*

*Insight and Highlight.*

Jude 1:3 *"........and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.*

*Scripture Commentaries.*

The Chief Planter, Jesus admonishes us to uproot every plant His Father has not planted.

Further meanings to this is, Jesus telling us to earnestly defend, stand up, fight and wrestle to protect the truthfulness and integrity of His gospel against falsehood and false prophets.

Any plant planted by Satan distorts God's grace and denies Jesus Christ. 

While Satan blinds, the ultimate reason for rejection lies in the "deliberate opposition to the gospel". The 'unregenerate mind' or the carnal mind that has not known Jesus is their 'fertile' soul'.

The mind that is already regenerate or is born again is also a target for distortions, pollution and he must agonizenly, intensely and violently protect his state of purity against every evil planted

Matthew 11:12 talks about an intense, eager, forceful spiritual pursuit of overcoming, resisting and opposing through fervent, determined faith and prayer (not of physical violence) to gain control over Satanic forces militating against the Kingdom of God.

Jesus says *And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.*

Jude 1:3 says *Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.*

Harmful heresies, dangerous warfare, deliberate opposition, divisive contents etc are all seeds planted by the devil.

The Christian faces fierce opposition. He can not afford to be neither here nor there but to squarely be on Christ's side.

It is dangerous to claim to know God and know Satan at the same time. Before God, you are not His.

Whereas there are people who claim to know God but are Satan's.

If you love God, you will uproot anything Satanic.

Paul says *"......what fellowship hath righteousness* *with unrighteousness?* *And what communion* *hath light with*

*darkness?* 2 Cor 6:14.

What root is springing out from you?

The call to uproot Satan is a command. It is not optional.

*Call to Word action.*

If we ignore the call to uproot, the more ground Satan will occupy.

*The Christian clarion duty.*

The more Satan takes root, he takes the totality of the person.

*Prayer.*

Lord, help me never to ignore Your command but let me take it and respond to it immediately and without delay, in Jesus name.
