*WHAT ROOT IS SPRINGING OUT FROM YOU? (4).*
*Scripture Treasure.*
Matthew 15:13.
*But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.*
*Insight and Highlight.*
While the devil's planting is a process and will gradually find root to facilitate his evil vices, rooting him out is an instant, immediate and definite act.
*Scripture Commentaries.*
Christ is aware that there are people in whom His plants are not in them.
He warns and teaches us that there are people who are progressively drifting away and will eventually be lost totally if bad seeds rooted in them are not uprooted.
Paul says in 2 Cor 4:3-4 that the gospel of Jesus is not hidden but those who are lost are lost because the gospel message is spiritually hidden from those who are perishing because Satan, the "god of this age," has blinded their minds to the truth of Christ
He writes *But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:*
*In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.*
So there are people who hear the true word of God but say it is not true.
The message of Christ is clear. He plants good seed. The people who do not believe, do not believe because they are blinded
and their blindness is not due to a fault in the gospel but is a result of the individual's rejection of God's truth.
A farmer (the husbandman, the ground tiller of the soil) pays close attention to what he plants and what is planted because he knows he will be the first partaker of the vine. In 2 Timothy 2:6. Paul says that the hardworking farmer (the "husbandman") who labours to produce crops should be the first to share in the bounty of their labor.
Jesus, who plants, is ensuring what He plants is nurtured and sustained.
The devil is watching for an opportunity to plant. Do not allow him to gain ground.
We can prevent him by uprooting any ungodly desire before it takes root rather than wait for it to gain ground before we uproot.
For those in whom it has taken root, they must first uproot it before Christ's planting can fully take root.
Jesus is saying that if we do not uproot what is not meant for our soul or we do not prevent it from gaining root in us it is because we lack or fail to have the knowledge of the God we claim to believe in.
This is why some people can not just see right. They call darkness light and call light darkness because they can not see the shinning light because it is darkness to them.
2 Cor 4:6;says *For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.*
The Chief Farmer knows what He plants. He plants good seed. He wants you to bear good fruits from it.
Do not allow the devil to corrupt it!
*Remorse corner.*
Satan is actively planting and as an active-evil agent, he prevents people from seeing the light of the gospel message.
*Call to Word action.*
Satan actively opposes God's work of bringing people to salvation.
*The Christian clarion duty.*
While it may not be the fault of some people who do not accept the message because of their spiritual blindness, the child of God has an individual responsibility to prevent any spiritual blindness.
*Prayer.*
Lord do not allow the devil to find soil in me to plant his evil seed in Jesus name.
Good morning all, and have a blessed day.
God bless you.
Shalom.
