*WHAT ROOT IS SPRINGING OUT FROM YOU? (3).*

*Scripture Treasure.*

Matthew 15:13.

*But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.*

*Insight and Highlight.*

While we endeavor to root out every plant God has not planted, it is important to deal with the root cause of how, why and when the wrong plant got there in the first place.

*Scripture Commentaries.*

The psalmist tells us about a destroyed foundation, Ps 11:3.

The foundation of a house is where the house gets its stability.

The foundation is its root. From the foundation, the building is built and emerged from.

It is in its foundation (root) that it finds strength just as how what is rooted in us will determine how spiritually strong we are.

Paul states in Colosians using "*.....rooted, built up.....faith grounded..."* as expressions used interchangeably in connection with a solid foundation and root if we are to be strong Christians,

*".....holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:......"*

Col 2:6-7 says *As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:*

*Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.*

Col 1: 22-23 *In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:*

*lf ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;*

The psalmist talks about faulty/destroyed foundation (root). Jesus talks about uprooting an already bad and unwanted root (foundation).

Uprooting what God has not planted may also require that every root that shall be uprooted also require a spiritual inspection crucial to identifying the root cause.

Every decision to uproot what God has not planted may require finding our why or how the bad root found its place in our lives so as to avoid a repeated case. We need to do this for any repair or uprooting to be effective.

While it is important to pray according to

Nahum 1:8 which says *"......affliction shall not rise up the second time.*, it is important to deal with how and/why the first affliction happened, learn from it in order to prevent the second from happening.

In identifying the cause, we must first admit that the problem is from what we sow in our hearts. As previously mentioned, our heart is the soil where words and issues of life are planted and from it they come out, Prov 4:23.

We must determine the problem is due to our heart's yearning for worldly or spiritual needs.

Telling ourselves the truth and immediately searching for the truth of God's word will set us free from foundational damage or total destruction.

What root springs out of your heart? You can prevent a bad root if you sow the right seed in your soil (your heart).

*Remorse corner.*

Do not pretend you do not know the bad seed (word) you are planting in your heart.

*Call to Word action.*

Planting is a process. When you are careless to allow bad planting in your heart , it grows to a point of no return. It takes over you.

*The Christian clarion duty.*

Allow God to plant His seed in you. It will become your lifestyle.

*Prayer.*

Lord, help me to resist any plant You do not wish to have in my life in Jesus name.

Good morning all and have a blessed day.

God bless you.

Shalom.
