*Insight and Highlight.*
God does not want us to judge, but He allows us to tell wrongdoers their wrongs.
*Scripture Commentaries.*
In Matt 7:1-5, Jesus' words saying *Thou shall not judge..* is a warning to hypocrites who judge while they are also in conduct of condemnable judgment.
People may resent judgment by hiding behind Jesus's word that says *"Thou shall not be judged."*
Whether or not they accept that they must be judged, we must be willing and ready to confront and point at them to let them know their wrongful acts.
However, before we confront and make them known, we must learn from prophet Nathan.
First, our confrontation must not be an allegation and must not be based on the ground of suspicion. It must be on the ground of provable solid facts and truth.
Second, Nathan had the backing of God. We must not just look at evidences, we must pray for God's word on the matter.
The loophole in our justice system is because there are times facts are not the truth. At times, evidence collected at crime scenes does not reveal all the truth. Witness statements are often not reliable. Oftentimes, there is witch hunting, duress, and undue influences, which often result in misplaced judgments.
Nathan confronted David, telling him *....Thou art the man.*
Actionable conduct deserves actionable action.
We must not be afraid to judge and point people to the wrongs they have done.
*Remorse corner.*
And Nathan said to David, "
*"Thou art the man.*
*Call to Word action.*
When you are judged, accept fault. It may minimize or put out God's wrath completely, 2 Sam 12:13, Rom 4:8
*The Christian clarion duty.*
When you acknowledge your sin rather than crop up excuses, you are on the path of God's forgiveness, Psalm 51:8.
Lord, help me to acknowledge my sins when l am convicted and help me to turn away from it, in Jesus name.
Good morning all and have a blessed day today.
God bless you.
