Killing fields are places of slaughter.
A mass killer is a killing field. Killing fileds account for litterred bodies from indiscriminate killings, cold-blooded murders which could either be a massacre or genocide.
God expects a good standard from us all. He wants us to live in peaceful coexistence with one another.
More is expected of rulers. They are to keep and safeguard the lives of their subjects. A leader of discreet and good judgment makes his subjects merry, but a wicked one makes them mourn, Prov 29:2.
King Herod, in the days of Jesus, had a killing field. He ordered the slaying of *"..... all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under, Matt 2:18.
Those who kill must remember they will not live forever.
The Bible records the end of this Herod saying in Matt 2:19 "....when Herod was dead,...". In Matt 2:20 "...for they are dead which sought the young child's life."
We must never let anything drive us to end a fellow human being's life abruptly as if we created it.
Life is precious to the extent that only God has the exclusive power to give and take it.
What has that fellow done that you have now put yourself in the place of God to take his/her life?
Even an animal's blood is sacred to God how much more human's blood.
God said in Lev 17:14 ....none of you may eat blood.... This is because the life of the animal is in the blood. The blood was only shed to make an atonement for a sinner's life.
There are other forms of killing fields.
Attimes people kill others emotionally. Their victims live as if they were dead, while their killers are a killing field. These killers go about as if they could not kill an ant.
Some people kill others with their mouth, Job 5:21.
Killers and killing fields are rampant.
We must always pray to God to save us from these wasters of valuable lives.
Matt 5:21 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:
Have you prayed to be delivered from killing fields?
As you go today, God will deliver you from killing fields in Jesus name.

Call to Word action.
Jesus says that an evil heart is the origin of the killing field; a heavy loss of life. Many people have already been killed in an evil heart before they are killed physically.
Matthew 15:19 For out of the heart, proceed evil thoughts, murders....."

Those who kill will not live forever.
Prayer.
Lord, purify my heart. Let me not be a killer but a life saver, in Jesus name.
