"......STORMY, BUT FOR MY GOOD"
*WISDOM FOR TODAY.*
*.....STORMY, BUT FOR MY GOOD.*
Gen 37:19-20, 28 * And they said one to another, Behold, this dreamer cometh.*
*Come now therefore, and let us slay him, and cast him into some pit, and we will say, Some evil beast hath devoured him: and we shall see what will become of his dreams.*
*Then there passed by Midianites merchantmen; and they drew and lifted up Joseph out of the pit, and sold Joseph to the Ishmeelites for twenty pieces of silver: and they brought Joseph into Egypt.*
*Insight and Highlight.*
Though it may be stormy but it can be for your good. Know for sure, not all storms come to distrup, some come to straighten your path.
Storms of life come in diverse forms.
Joseph faced storms of hatred, betrayal, separation and attendant vices.
Joseph, Job among many others in the scriptures remain perfect example of people who suffered unfortunate stormy setbacks. Though as perfect examples of innocent sufferers, they remain less perfect than Jesus who died, paid with His life to resurrect again.
No one can explain the injustices of life more than the sufferers who went through them.
The badness of life just has to happen for you to truly understand its pains, victories, and complexities.
Joseph, Job remain examples of life's greatest tragedies. They typified how people, by error or transparency out of our pure hearts, create a "perfect" conditions for people to hate them.
Very unfortunate and not deserved!
There is a maxim that goes "very little or minute things can cause serious setbacks and massive tragedies". This is corroborated on Songs of Solomon 2:15 *" ...little foxes destroy the vine..."*
A wrong word, move, choice had destroyed many and cut their lives short.
They are life's unfortunate setbacks.
As people bring storms into people's lives so do people bring storms into their own lives.
The victory God gives us is that these unfortunate setbacks actually puts us on the path to fulfill the succes dreams we have always had.
Are you in the midst of life's storms?
If you love God, believe He is working something good for you, in Jesus name.
Joseph's storms may appear to have distrupted someway, but it straightened his path *"to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive."*, Gen 50:20
*Call to Word action.*
Rom 8: 28 *And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.*
*The Christian clarion duty.*
Life will not give us what we deserve. Only when we trust in God in difficult times of unexpected setbacks, can we be rest assured, God can use even the most evil actions to bring about the complex good, Gen 50:20.
Lord, in the storms of life, please work all things to come out good for me in Jesus name.
Good morning all and have a blessed day today.
God bless you.
