RELIEF OR REVIVAL (2)
*WISDOM FOR TODAY.*
*RELIEF OR REVIVAL (2)*
*Scripture Treasure.*
Judges 10:15 ---►🔹 *And the children of Israel said unto the LORD, We have sinned: do thou unto us whatsoever seemeth good unto thee; deliver us only, we pray thee, this day.*🔹
*Insight and Highlight.*
Many seek to be saved from life's troubles but hardly seek to be saved from eternal hell.
*Scripture Commentaries.*
Some, if not most people, seek to be saved from death, the troubles of this world but not hell.
We fail to know that even if we are not saved from our troubles and tribulations, persecution of faith now, we have hope of an eternal rest with Christ in Heaven.
This is because what we may be going through now is a light affliction, which is but for a moment and it works for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, 2 Cor 4:17.
Romans 8:18 says ---►🔹 *I consider that our present sufferings are not comparable to the glory that will be revealed in us.*🔹
Those who seek to be delivered instead of first seeking a relationship with God are only seeking for relief instead of revival.
*Remorse corner.*
Psalms 119:156 (NKJV) *Great are Your tender mercies, O LORD; Revive me according to Your judgments.*
*Call to Word action.*
Psalm 143:11 (NKJV) ► *Revive me, O LORD, for Your name’s sake! For Your righteousness’ sake bring my soul out of trouble.*
*The Christian clarion duty.*
*Psalms 18:28 (NIV) You, LORD, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light.*
*Prayer*
Lord, keep my lamp burning, in Jesus name.
Good morning all and have a blessed day today.
God bless you.
