*WISDOM FOR TODAY.*
*PROVOKING GOOD WORKS (3)*
*Scripture Treasure.*
John 9:4, *I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work;*
*Insight and Highlight.*
Work diligently, avoid distractions.
When you refuse to be distracted, you attract more people into service.
*Scripture Commentaries.*
The Apostle Paul says all his life in ministry, he sought not his own but that of his followers even to the verge of his exhaustion, 1 Cor 9:22 ►🔹 *To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.*🔹
Yet with all these, to the Apostle, there was the painful consciousness of toiling without adequate return.
It was apparent to him that inspite of his intense craving for affection, the love for him varied with those he was loving. Yet he was undaunted, he kept on.
What kept him going was his awareness of what God expected of him. This was; to work when he was expected to work.
Are you feeling wasted despite of your diligent services?
Waste no time, press on. Do His work when it is day! Nothing done for God ends wasted.
*Remorse corner.*
Not that Paul himself was so strong, but in his weakness, he received strength to be strong.
*Call to Word action.*
Persevere in serving. There are people looking up to you though you may not know this.
*The Christian clarion duty.*
1 Corinthians 9:19 ►🔹 *For though I be free from all men, yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more.*🔹
*Prayer.*
Lord help me to gain more people through my dilligent service, in Jesus name.
Good morning all and have a blessed day today.
God bless you.
