*WISDOM FOR TODAY.*
*OUT NUMBERED OR OUT ORGANIZED. (4)*
*Scripture Treasure.*
2 Cor 2:11 *Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.*
*Insight and Highlight.*
To stay victorious, Paul admonishes that we know how evil Satan is.
*Scripture Commentaries.*
Satan studies his would-be victims, so it is not surprising that Paul teaches us the importance of knowing him and the scheme he uses to perpetrate his evil.
Satan knew God built a hedge around Job, and he wished God would remove His edge around him, Job 1: 8-11.
He knows this because he knows how God takes care of those who are His.
Every righteous is a target for Satan.
Obviously, Job had been a target of Satan, and he got the opportunity to be there while *".....the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord.*, Job 1:6.
The uninvited evil was there to disorganize a well organized life of Job.
It was a moment that Job faced a test of his life.
Satan does not watch over us, but he keenly watches his targets with interest.
1 Peter 5:8 says *Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:*
If Satan is seeking to gain advantage of you, what are you doing to prevent him?
Do not fall victim to the devil's scheme to interfere into your life's journey.
We must be careful. Job's once peaceful and rosy life suddenly became regretful to him. Life was now harder and unbearable.
Bad things do not just happen. There are spirits behind them, but you have to prepare your minds for these eventualities.
Those who win unexpected battles, how much more expected ones, against Satan are people who have prepared themselves.
God was ahead of Satan and Job, who did not know the divine role behind his sufferings. God's stance was all he needed to win his trials.
Satan can come anytime, but remember that God is there for you every time, Ps 46:1.
You can not win the battle against Satan alone.
Everyone who knew Job before Satan afflicted him knew him no more.
No matter how many people sing our praises today, when trouble comes, they or the majority of them will join the forces of Satan, and the numbers of our enemies are multiplied.
Psalm 3:1; 25:19; 38:19 tell us that enemies can be more and can multiply.
It is safe for us to know whom we are fighting against.
We must know that we are engaged in a war against Satan. We must know we are not fighting this war without a purpose.
Paul says *......l so fight, but not as one that beateth the air...* 1 Corinthians 9:26.
It must be intentional with the ultimate hope to win and destroy him.
*Remorse corner.*
God can never be caught unawares, so an organized child of God ought not be caught unawares.
*Call to Word action.*
*Be watchful and vigilant.....”* 1 Peter 5:8.
*The Christian clarion duty.*
The devil is on the lookout to outnumber you and disorganize your life. Do not be careless.
Your only security is Christ. Stay in Him. Though you may be unprepared, He is prepared.
*Prayer.*
Lord, help me. Let the devil not catch me unawares. Though l may be found aware, please arise for my sake regardless, fight for me, in Jesus name.
Good morning all, and have a blessed day.
God bless you.
