*WISDOM FOR TODAY.*

*"...NOT DEAD, BUT ALIVE.*

*Scripture Treasure.*

Gen 17:5 *No longer will you be called Abram, but your name will be Abraham, for I have made you a father of many nations.*

*Insight and Highlight.*

God gives power to that which is not as though it were in existence.

*Scripture Commentaries.*

Your situation is not dead with God, but alive.

God changed Abram's name to Abraham, (meaning the father of nations), when there was no nation in sight.

Neither was the promised seed born nor any nation in sight.

Isaac was the promised seed but he was yet to be in sight, Rom 9:7.

God was calling Abraham (father of nations) yet there was absolutely nothing to show for it and Abraham believed Him.

Rom 4:19 *And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara's womb:*

God gives life to that which is dead.

There was deadness all around him, yet God's word lightened him, ref Isaiah 9:8.

Do not allow the existence of a problem in your life today to ever determine what you will be tomorrow.

God gives life to that which is dead and He gives power to that which is not as though it were in existence.

As long as God is in your situation, your life cannot be determined by the number of problems you are going through today.

Jesus is a life giving Spirit.

John 11:25 ► *Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:*

*Remorse corner.*

1 Cor 15:45 *And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.*

Jesus is not only a life giving Spirit, He is also a life quickening Spirit.

Do not give up!

*Call to Word action.*

Romans 4:17 *(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.*

*The Christian clarion duty.*

No matter how dead your situation may look or be, you will receive a quickening today, in Jesus name

John 5:21 *For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will.*

*Prayer.*

Lord, quicken every dead expectations that l have in You to receive life through You in Jesus name.

Good morning all and have a blessed day today.

God bless you.
