1 Corinthians 3:10 *By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as an expert builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one must be careful how he builds.*

*Insight and Highlight.*

A laborer who labors abundanyly will be careful to build on an already laid foundation.

*Scripture Commentaries.*

The foundation on which a believer builds is very important.

The foundation of Christ is the standard for every believer. This is the foundation on which the Apostles built.

We must take a cue from this.

Nobody would wish anyone would wrongly build on a good foundation he/she had laboured to lay.

Also, a Spirit minded person would not wish to wrongfully build on a good foundation that had been laid.

Paul's word clearly teaches us that as we work hard and diligently to build a good foundation, we must care about how the person coming after us would build on it.

Not only this alone, but the person coming after should be careful how he builds upon it.

This proves again that we are a team

The one who builds not only builds, he carefully cautions those who are coming after to build rightly.

There is there a joint responsibility. There is one who hands down a legacy of hard work and the one who comes later to preserve the legacy by further hard work, building on it

Paul's word exhorting each one to be careful how he builds clearly tells and warns us that if care is not taken

there is a possibility of destroying a good foundation.

How well are you working in order to build of Christ' foundation?

A hard worker working will ensure to carefully build on this foundation.

Someone who diligently labours abundantly is not only doing it for him/herself but for those coming after. This is why he/she is laying a foundation.

Jesus laid us a foundation by working. If the Apostle could build on this foundation, we all ought to build on it.

1 Cor 3:11 *For no one can lay a foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.*

*The Christian clarion duty.*

We must work, not only to earn the Masters reward but also in the general interest of others in the Kingdom.

*Prayer.*

Lord, help me to build on Christ's foundation and let others carefully know how to build on it, in Jesus name.
