Jesus is larger than the life we live in because He gives life.

The maker and giver of life must be greater than the life itself.

It can only take courage and a resolute determination to lose one's life, having done nothing to deserve losing it.

Jesus says

John 15:13 *Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.*

Though Jesus is God but His courage and sacrifice are admired. Though dying meant nothing to Him, and he did not fear for His life, people feared for His life and were worried at His arrest and death. Peter was afraid Jesus would die, and he was fearful for his own life as well, Mark 14:50, 54, 57-60

Jesus rode the mystery angle very hard, exposing the hypocrisy of the Pharisee, destroying principalities and powers, exposing the secrets of the hearts of men and things that were not known to ordinary men, Jesus knew all.

Demons terrified people until Jesus outgrew them out of their oppression, Mark 5.

We must see Jesus as larger than life and whatsoever life offers us.

Only in Christ is life guaranteed.
