IT'S MY LIFE? (3)

*WISDOM FOR TODAY.*

*IT'S MY LIFE? (3)*

*Scripture Treasure.*

2 Peter 1:3 *According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:*

*Insight and Highlight.*

Make use of all that God has given you pertaining to life

*Scripture Commentaries.*

It can be dangerous to listen to oneself only.

People who do their things in absolute secrecy and privacy must also know there are people who know what they do not know. There are people whom God has endowed with words of wisdom for daily living, ref 2 Sam 16:23.

Their words do not replace the words of God, but their words corroborate God's words.

Our prayer is that God will lead us to where we most need counsel.

If your secrecy is of God, then your absolute secrecy from others may need God's direction for it to end without regret.

This is because in this world, there are people who do their things in secrecy, even not taking God into consideration.

When people do their things in secret, they defend themselves, saying they could do better when they do things in secrecy. It may be true that such people end up with something good or end up bad regretting having kept it secret to others.

Let us look closely at the scriptures.

Secrecy is most approved when you are entrusted with vital information that you are not expected to make known to others, Prov 25:9-10.

Second, it is approved in the scriptures to encourage confidentiality. It is recommended that if you know someone who gossips, avoid such a person. He/she cannot be trusted with vital information, Prov 20:19.

When it comes to going secret when God expects you to reach out for counsel, danger is imminent, ref Prov 11:4, 24:6.

Lk 8:17 tells us more about secrecy.

*For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open.*

It tells us that whatsoever we do in the hiding thinking nobody sees us shall be made open.

This can also tell us that nothing grows in secrecy.

You may think you have achieved much by not letting people know what you are doing but consider what you might lose if you fail to share with someone God has endowed with good counsel.

You may even think you have succeeded in what you embarked on to do but also think about how much more or better you could have achieved if you had added someone's advice to yours.

We know it is your life, but there must be someone whom God has sent to you to help you.

Remember, there are people who know what you do not know.

*Remorse corner.*

So also there are people who hear what you do not hear.

*Call to Word action.*

Listen to them. Listen to their commandments. God has endowed them. They know what you should do.

1 Chro 12:32 *And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do; the headset of them were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their commandment.*

*The Christian clarion duty.*

When you talk less, you will hear what you do not know, but if you talk too much because you do not allow others to talk, you are only saying what you know.

You can not learn something new.

*Prayer.*

Lord, lead me to Godly counsel.Help me not to live my life carefree, in Jesus name.

Good morning all, and have a blessed day today.

God bless you.
