*WISDOM FOR TODAY.*
*GOD HAS EQUIPPED YOU.*
*Scripture Treasure.*
Exd 4:10-12
*And Moses said unto the Lord, O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither heretofore, nor since thou hast spoken unto thy servant: but I am slow of speech, and of a slow tongue.*
*And the Lord said unto him, Who hath made man's mouth? or who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? have not I the Lord?*
*Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt say.*
*Insight and Highlight.*
God will not call you to do what He knows you can not do.
*Scripture Commentaries.*
Mankind's refusal to do what God has called them to do did not start today.
It started long dated to Bible days.
As earlier as it is the quicker and sooner we must put a stop to it.
We can not survive by disobedience.
That we will refuse to do what God has freely given us the ability to do is one of, if not the, commonest and collosal failures of the children of men.
How would you explain Peter telling Jesus, *"....No, Lord...."*, Acts 10:12-14.
Should it not be 'Yes, Lord'?
Why would you disobey God?!
How would you further explain Moses negotiating with God over what God had created in him to function for His glory.
God overrode these two vessels letting them know that whatever weaknesses they had did not determine God's choice of them.
Your serving God or God's choice of you may not be to remove your weaknesses but to ensure that through your weaknesses His nane would be glorified, John 9;1-12, 2 Cor 12.
Paul considered serving God as a matter of life and death, Phil 1:21.
He would be a 'murderer', if he failed to do what God had asked him to do.
He says in Acts 20:19, 26
*Serving the Lord with all humility of mind, and with many tears, and temptations, which befell me by the lying in wait of the Jews:*
*Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men.*
He did not die as a 'murderer'. He was cleared of everyone's blood!
Are you called to serve?
*Remorse corner.*
God has equipped you!
Do not say 'No Lord'!
*Call to Word action.*
Some of us may be indebted to God by our failure to do what God has equipped us to do, Ezk 3:18.
*The Christian clarion duty.*
Whatever weaknesses or excuses we have are not against God but against ourselves.
*Prayer.*
Lord, help me to say 'Yes Lord', in Jesus name
Good morning all, and have a blessed day today.
God bless you.
