*DO NOT MISS CHRIST'S GRACE (7).*

*Scripture Treasure.*

Titus 2:11-12

*For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,*

*Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;*

*Insight and Highlight.*

Do not die without mercy.

*Scripture Commentaries.*

One of the things grace does for us is to prevent us from dying without mercy.

Grace saved us, and this grace is still available to save.

Not so much that grace was absent in the Old Testament, but its full-fledged privilege was revealed in Jesus.

The law killed sinful people without the opportunity to repent.

Grace brought the opportunity to repent.

Grace brought forgiveness. Forgiving us when we are unforgivable.

The unmerited favour of God is explained why while we were in our sins, the disobedience to God and separated from God, God brought Jesus to die for our sins regardless! Rom 5:8.

Paul teaches that the coming of Jesus

*"......made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.*, 2 Cor 3:6.

In the days of Moses, people died without mercy.

Heb 10:28 says *He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:*

Grace, through Jesus, gave the law of Moses life through the Spirit.

While Moses was a great Intercessor, he interceeded for the Israelites before God but could not successfully intercede for himself when he disobeyed God in Numb 14:29-35.

He made God repent of His judgment over the people, Exd 32:7-10, 14, but he could not make God reverse His decision to prevent him from entering the promised land. He regrettably told the people how God told him how He was angry with him.

In Deut 3:26 *But the LORD was wroth with me for your sakes, and would not hear me: and the LORD said unto me, Let it suffice thee; speak no more unto me of this matter.*

God dealt with Moses without mercy, but grace secured his place. He died, and nobody, till today, knows where he was buried. God buried him Himself, Deut 35:5-7.

The devil contended for his body, Jude 1:9

but failed. He did not make it to Canaan, but he appeared on the Mount of Transfiguration with Jesus and Elijah, Matt 17.

While there are gruesome ways that people die today, we should ask God to prevent us from dying without mercy.

While we do not want to be judgemental of some righteous who die disastrously because wicked people cause their death, Lk 13:4-5, it still remains true that Christ by His grace can save the righteous from shameful death.

While also it remains that some righteous people may appear to die without mercy, Christian death by persecution must never be assumed to justify why the righteous should die without God intervening to stop it.

God who is merciful and gracious in their lifetime will take them to His presence by His grace.

The grace that operated in their lives will work to their last breath regardless of the kind of death they suffered.

The Christian is called to suffer persecution, and their death is not to be judged they died without God showing them His mercy or saving them by His grace. 2 Tim 3:12 says *Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.*

Their death is an expression of grace that endorses their lives and ministry to take them straight to God's presence, Acts 7: 55-60.

Grace still saves, and God does not remove it from those who remain faithful to Him in their lifetime to their last breath.

*Remorse corner.*

Grace saves us from death, and in death, His grace takes the Christian into His presence regardless of their death.

2 Cor 5:8 *We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.*

*Call to Word action.*

Phil 1:21 *For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.*

*The Christian clarion duty.*

Grace saved us and still saves.

*Prayer.*

Lord, let Your grace save me always. Let Your grace lead me to live a peaceful and victorious life. Let Your grace lead me that l do not die before my time or suffer any shameful death in Jesus name.

Good morning all, and have a blessed day.

God bless you.

Shalom.
