*WISDOM FOR TODAY.*

*AN OBEDIENT EAR IS GOLDEN.*

*Scripture Treasure.*

Proverbs 25:12 *As an earring of gold, and an ornament of fine gold, so is a wise reprover upon an obedient ear.*

*Insight and Highlight.*

Gold earrings are beautiful.

Just as gold is beautiful, so also is the combination of a reprover and an obedient hearer.

For God’s rare truth and wisdom to remain in the earth, there must be a teacher and a follower.

A follower who is an obedient hearer will heed to faithful reproof.

Truth is rarely obeyed. It will take an obedient, submissive and a ready hearer's ear to obey the truth.

To the obedient ear, the teacher is like an earring of gold. An obedient ear only becomes more attractive through the lessons it receives.

When a wise reprover corrects and instructs a submissive hearer, a beautiful combination occurs, truth is adopted and wisdom increases.

Do you obey God’s truth fully? Do you teach it well?

*Remorse corner.*

As gold is beautiful so also is an obedient hearer to his reprover.

*Call to Word action.*

Proverbs 15:31 *He who listens to life-giving reproof will dwell among the wise.*

*The Christian clarion duty.*

There is no beauty in a hearer who does not heed in obedience to faithful reproof.

*Prayer.*

Lord, help me to obey faithful reproof, in Jesus name.

Good morning all and have a blessed day today.

God bless you
