Success is something you attract by making it attractive to yourself and making yourself attractive to it.
Make yourself attractive to success. Let success itself see you as an attractive person to it.
A strong prerequisite to success is building yourself. People are often first attracted to what they saw.
There is a cliché "you are addressed the way you are dressed", "dress as if you owned the bank"...etc.
Though all these do make their impacts key is working hard on yourself, seeking knowledge.
Build yourself, work harder on yourself than you do on your job. You will live to thrive not just survive. Seek God, seek knowledge!
Proverbs 19:2 (NIV) Even zeal is no good without knowledge, and he who hurries his footsteps misses the mark.
If you work on your job you can make a living which is fine.
If you work hard on yourself, you can make a fortune, which is super fine.
You are meant to thrive in life not just live to survive.
Build yourself, make an impression on the hearts of people who can help you, not as men pleaser, though, ref Eph 6:6: Not with eyeservice, as men-pleasers;......"
You can dress appropriately yet inexpensively, ref 1 Pet 3:3-4.
Hang around with winners. Plan to succeed.
One who fails to plan has already planned to fail.
Those who are in too much haste, neglecting planning will fail and plunge into losses: Prov 21:5 (NIV) The plans of the diligent lead to profit as surely as haste leads to poverty.
Constantly build up yourself:
Proverbs 21:5 The thoughts of the diligent tend only to plenteousness;....."

Proverbs 10:4 He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich.
2 Peter 3:18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever. Amen.
Lord, help me to grow daily. Teach me, lead me, impact in me with the wisdom for growth, and in all let me not think of myself too highly than I ought to think, in Jesus name.
