*WISDOM FOR TODAY.*
*WHOSE KINGDOM DO YOU BELONG?*
*Scripture Treasure.*
Jer 31:1 *At the same time, saith the Lord, will I be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be my people.*
*Insight and Highlight.*
Children of men have made the God of all to be the God of some.
*Scripture Commentaries.*
God's love is universal to all mankind. However, children of men have limited God by their wrong choices.
This is because there are people who love God, and there are people who do not love God. These people even deny His existence.
Though it remains that God loves the world but He has chosen to be God to some people based on their relationship with Him.
The Kingdom of God is built on the relationship with God.
When a person loses the Kingdom of God, he/she has lost his/her relationship with God.
This is why God's relationship with us should not be taken for granted.
Jesus recognises that there are people whom God gives to Him as covenant children, John 6:37 ► *All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.*
This tells us that though God loves the whole world, ref John 3:16, there are people He can call peculiar children in contrast to the general classification.
In 1 Pet 2:9, He calls some peculiar people.
Romans 9:6 says, *"Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:”*
Eph 2:13-14 says those who are not in Christ are aliens to the commonwealth of Israel, Eph 2: 12-13.
2 Tim 2:19 says ,*"....The Lord knoweth them that are his....:*
This clearly tells us that God knows those who are His.
There is the kingdom of Satan, and there is a Kingdom of God.
We have to know which Kingdom we belong to. Not everybody loves Christ. Not everyone loves God.
Every one of us is walking in the path of either of the Kingdoms. Which Kingdom do you belong to?
If we are in the Kingdom of God, God says in Proverbs 8:17 *l love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.*
God's Kingdom is not only about those who call His name but about those who walk according to His will.
It is not about a perceived knowledge of Him but more about God knowing the person. If He does not know you, it means you do not have a relationship with Him.
To those who claim to know His name, drive out demons in His name but do not have a relationship with, Jesus said in Matthew 7:23 *And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.*
Whom you know and believe will determine which Kingdom you belong.
Those who belong to the Kingdom of God know Christ in words and deeds.
*Remorse corner.*
Not all who call Him Lord will enter into the Kingdom of God.
*Call to Word action.*
Matthew 7:21 *Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.*
*The Christian clarion duty.*
