*Scripture Treasure.*

Rom 1:25 *Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.*

*Insight and Highlight.*

God's truth is true. By God's laid down standard, whatever is true is the truth. However, the children of men have turned God's truth into a lie because of their evil hearts.

*Scripture Commentaries.*

Jesus tells us that whatever a person would do is what is in his/her heart,

Matt 15: 18-20.

So it is not necessarily what a person says that we should go by. We must exercise great caution.

He says in Matt 12:34-40 *For out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks."*

It is not to say that we can not go by what a person says. When what a good person says does align with what is in his/her good heart, it is righteous before God. Jesus, our perfect example says in John 6:63 *"....the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.*

This is a perfect example of when the words of a righteous man align with his good heart. Jesus said in Matt 7:17: *"Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.*

Paul issues a strong alert and warning, telling us that people can turn the truth into a lie, Rom 1:25.

It is ironic that truth has undergone grave manipulations.

Many have been sold investments that yielded good returns as promised.

Some scammed people were told what was true (but not necessarily the truth), and it worked for some time.

There is a difference between 'true and truth'. For example, we must know that it is true that one can have good returns on investment, but it is not the truth that it will always be so or teach or believe it will always be so.

We must understand this principle.

These victims did not know that they were told what was true in order to win their good conscience.

Some of these investors enjoyed good returns at the inception. They are then asked to put in more investment, but they will end up in a large-scale multi dimensional scam.

This did not start today. It started from the time people turned God's truth into a lie.

We must be careful.

A person could come into the church and show commitment and diligence and be true, appear truthful in their delivery yet he/she may creep into the church in order to impress a suitor (ref Acts 20:39, Jude 1:4), the same way truth can be changed into a lie.

We must not be easily deceived through what appears truthful yet turned out to be a plan to achieve an inordinate ambition.

To be easily deceived is to believe something dupable.

We must know there is no truth in the devil and his agent, but they can tell you what is true. For example, the devil and his agents are known to access some classified spiritual information, Acts 19:15.

The certain slave girl possessed with a spirit of divination knew Paul and other as true servants of God (Acts 16:18), but she did not embrace the truth of the gospel of Jesus as preached by Paul

Also, James 2:19, tells us the devil believes there is one God and trembles at his word, but he does not want you to embrace the truth that you should give your life to Jesus.

We must earnestly pray that God opens our eyes to God's truth.

*Remorse corner.*

It is so horrific to see that a person can be telling you what is true, yet he is deceiving you just to win your good conscience.

*Call to Word action.*

The devil turns God's truth into a lie.

Gen 3:5 *For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.*

*The Christian clarion duty.*

The key acid test is for us all to know the importance of discerning the heart of man rather than the mouth of man.

Lord, help save me from people who turn the truth into a lie in Jesus name.

Good morning all, and have a blessed day.

God bless you.
