*Scripture Treasure.*

1 John 4:8 *God is love, and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.*

*Insight and Highlight.*

Love.....*Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.* 1 Cor 13:7

*Scripture Commentaries.*

The expression "love is blind" takes cue from God's word.

When your love for someone is blind, you cannot see the faults in that person.

A person who truly loves someone, cannot see any imperfections in the person he loves.

He will love him and patiently wait and do all it takes in Christ, till the imperfection is taken away, till Christ is formed in him, (ref Gal 4:19).

We can objectively explain God's love as such. God's love covers a multitude of sins, 1 Pet 4:8 (NLT) *Most important of all, continue to show deep love for each other, for love covers a multitude of sins.*

It is a love so patient that it waits to see a change in the life of the sinner, and it is kind, not willing to destroy or keep malice, 1 Cor 13:4-5.

The reason why God forgives the repentant sinner is because He no longer sees his sin but His precious blood shed for the remission of our sins.

However we must clearly understand that though God's love may be described as blind, God is not blinded by love.

As much as God loves, He is still a consuming fire.

As a matter of truth, His chastening of us is out of His love. The truth spoken in God's love as regards God's judgment of sinners is out of the love God has for them so that they may not perish.

As a parent, when you chastise your child or punishment is metted on him for any wrong doing, you have done this out of the love you have for the child.

Your child will accept chastening because he is a child of God, he will rejoice in the truth, 1 Cor 13:6, Heb 12:6-8.

Pray that you may love as God loves.

May you love as God loves, in Jesus name.

*Remorse corner.*

God's love is blind, not imputing our sins (ref Ps 32:1) but the love He has does not blind Him to hide the truth of His established and impending anger in judgment when we fail before Him.

*Call to Word action.*

2 Sam 7:14 *l will be his father, and he shall be my son. If he commit iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men:*

*The Christian clarion duty.*

Love never fails, 1 Cor 13:8

1 Pet 1:22 *Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:*

Lord, help purify my soul to obey the truth. Let me sincerely have the *" of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart,*, in Jesus name.

Good morning all and have a blessed day today.

God bless you.
