WHEN JESUS MAKES YOUR WISHES, HORSES

*WISDOM FOR TODAY.*

*WHEN JESUS MAKES YOUR WISHES, HORSES.*

*Scripture Treasure.*

3 John 2 *Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.*

*Insight and Highlight.*

Wishes are good and can be horses if Christ is on our side, 3 John 2. Abiding in Christ is the surest way. He is the wish solver, giving you the wish that best suits you.

*Scripture Commentaries.*

Many of us have wishes, and we want them to come as fast as the horse can run.

Some of us wish our wishes come through.

There are factors we should consider when it comes to wishes.

First, some wishes are not good for us.Thank God, He did not grant us some or all of the wishes we wanted from Him. Some of these wishes, though we turn them to prayers, but God refuses to grant them.

This is because some wishes are lustful, Jam 4:3.

Many of us compare ourselves with our friends, and we wish the same for ourselves. However, many had died, but we never wished we were like them.

We love their successes but not what befell them.

The truth is, we always wish, wishes are horses. We always wish we could readily have all we wanted. We always wish this will make our lives easy.

Second, as expected, there is a God's time in the fulfillment of a wish.

Thank God we do not get our wishes as fast as we want them. We probably would have gone a long time ago.

Many have died pursuing wishes God never intended for them.

They pursue wishes different from God. They say: "it is not enough to wish for something. You have to take action to make it happen."

Third, while many have wishes and expect these can only be fulfilled if they pursue them. It must, however, be noted that though God expects our active participation, He does not want us to pursue a wish that is outside His will.

Just wishing for something may not always make it happen.

There are ways God makes our wishes horses.

First, the good news is that only if Christ permits, what we think as wishes can happen.

God can give us what we think.

Eph 3:20 says God is *".....able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think,..."*

Second, He even gives us what we have not asked Him, as long as we please Him, ref 1 Kgs 3:10.

Third, He can without any of our efforts give to us. This is because God is sovereign.1 Kings 3:13 *And I have also given thee that which thou hast not asked, both riches, and honour: so that there shall not be any among the kings like unto thee all thy days.*

Jesus accelerates wishes. He can make your wishes happen faster than you think.

Your wishes can be exactly as you think or as you make them known to God.

He can make your wishes horses.

Do your wishes align with God's?

*Remorse corner.*

if your wishes align with God's will, you can expect fulfillment even when they are in your thoughts.

*Call to Word action.*

Most times, if not all times, our wishes become what we will ask God in prayer. We must please God for them to be fulfilled.

Remember John 15:7 *If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

*The Christian clarion duty.*

Wishes are not fulfilled at all costs. Though there may be a cost but it must not be at all cost. Remember, not all wishes are of God.

Check first with God!

*Prayer.*

Lord, thank You for making my wish realities. Thank You for those You did not grant or have not granted.

Thank you for giving me an expected end, in

Jesus name.

Good morning, all, and be blessed as you go today.

God bless you
