Esther 4:14 *For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place; but thou and thy father's house shall be destroyed: and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?*

*Insight and Highlight.*

When God needs you, He often wants you to know why He needs you.

*Scripture Commentaries*

We are important and very special to God.

Though God dwells in perfect existence needing nobody to do what He wants to do, and though He does as He pleases, He often needs us because of us.

He often needs us so that we may know how important we are to Him.

To achieve this, He strategically places us in a place, location, to meet His present or future needs there.

It is good to appreciate where we are in order to cooperate with God in what He wants to do.

You must appreciate where He has placed you or make someone remind you of the importance of where you are.

Mordecai reminded Esther, telling her that the deliverance of the Jews had been a foresight reason of God to place her as Queen in the palace.

In other words, Mordecai was telling her that this was the reason why she became Queen.

God knew the Jews would be subjected to a plot to destroy them, so God needed a Jew with a compassion for her own people right in the heart of the city of Shushan to prevail over the King.

God had placed Esther in the palace five years ahead of the plot of Haman, Esther 2:16, 3:7.

God will not make a mistake.

Everywhere you find yourself as a true child of God has a God factor behind it.

God's sovereign will for His people and His Kingdom usually include human responsibility.

You must stand as Mordecai stood to remind Esther of why she was in the Kingdom at a time like this!

Esther rose up to the words of Mordecai. Her name and Modecai will never be forgotten, Esther 9 and 10.

Now you are here in the Kingdom, and you must ask yourself how you can impact the Kingdom at a time like this.

Take records of how you have impacted the Kingdom at a time like this

*The Christian clarion duty.*

When God needs you, He is also counting on your free decision as one of those He has positioned to protect His Kingdom and His people.

*Prayer.*

Lord, help me to know and appreciate why l am in Your Kingdom for such a time as this, in Jesus name.
