WHAT WILL YOU MEASURE UP TO?

*WISDOM FOR TODAY.*

*WHAT WILL YOU MEASURE UP TO?*

*Scripture Treasure.*

1 Sam 2:3 *Talk no more so exceeding proudly; let not arrogancy come out of your mouth: for the LORD is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed.*

*Insight and Highlight.*

What will you weigh when God visits to measure you?

*Scripture Commentaries.*

God watches over us, and He also observes our goings.

People who do evil must know there is a day of reckoning.

In the bible, it is almost established that your works will follow, 1 Tim 24-25, Rev 14:13

For example, if anyone kills someone, there is retribution that almost follows. In the world we live in, some people call it karma.

Jesus says in Matthew 26:52 *"....for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword."*

lt tells us that the same evil people do is quick to follow them.

Besides what the world calls it, it goes to tell us that God avenges.

Every believer must live with this consciousness. There is a day of accountability and reward.

Hannah says all actions are weighed by God, 1 Sam 2:3.

Do good this year, and let this be your conscience.

Both good and evil are rewarded, Rom 2:6, Matt 16:27

There is a payback time. It may be long but it will come.

God said about the king Belshazzar (his father was Nebuchadnezzar, Daniel 5:2) in

Daniel 5:27: *TEKEL; Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting,*

Let us treat one another the same way we would want others to treat us, Luke 6:31.

Be kind, be compassionate, and show feelings. God has feelings, so do people, Heb 4:15.

Wounds may heal, but scars remain.

Paul remembered what he suffered by the marks of Jesus that were left on his body. Thank God they were good memorable marks because they were for Christ's sake.

On the other hand, there are marks and scars we have left on people's hearts and lives that still bring them bad memories.

Scars of wounds received in the Master’s service are not regrettable but privileged.

Scars of wounds received from enemies are painful, and people regret they ever knew such people

Leave something that will be remarkably remembered by someone about you.

God will always remember to reward you for doing such.

Will you measure up when God visits with His reward? (ref Job 31:6).

Do good always!

*Remorse corner.*

Do good always. It is unto God. People may reward you with insults, but God will richly reward you.

*Call to Word action.*

Rev 22:11-12 *He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.*

*And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.*

*The Christian clarion duty.*

What will be your weight and worth when you are placed on God's scale?

Is it a good reward or the reward for wickedness?

*Prayer.*

Lord, when you weigh me, let me be found pure before You, in Jesus name.

Good morning all, and have a blessed day today.

God bless you.
