*WISDOM FOR TODAY.*

*WHAT IS GOD COMMANDING YOU?*

*Scripture Treasure.*

Numbers 19:1-3 *And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,*

*This is the ordinance of the law which the LORD hath commanded, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring thee a red heifer without spot, wherein is no blemish, and upon which never came yoke:*

*And ye shall give her unto Eleazar the priest, that he may bring her forth without the camp, and one shall slay her before his face:*

*Insight and Highlight.*

There is a profit with the Prophet.

*Scripture Commentaries.*

Eleazar, a son of Aaron, the brother of Moses, was one of Aaron's five sons newly commissioned for service in Exd 28:1.

Out of the five sons commissioned, he was

pronounced a successor, Exd 29:29-30, Numb 20:26.

God instructed the people of Israel through Moses and Aaron to bring for sacrifice *"....a red heifer without spot, wherein is no blemish, and upon which never came yoke:*

It is so remarkable that every step and duties of priests are directed and ordained by God.

For this sacrifice to be accepted, it must be

*"....without the camp.* That is outside the camp.

The people were obedient to bring the heifer to be offered for their sins, but they must be burnt outside the camp.

This means to testify that sin and death had no place in God's presence.

It is important for us to also recognize that what we give to God is for our own good.

God, who had crucified Jesus from the foundation of the world, Rev 13:8 already knew blood of goats and heifer could not take away sin, Heb 9:13.

Yet He requested that they brought a sacrifice to atone for their sins.

Only the blood of Jesus can atone for our sins, Heb 9:13.

Remember, however, that God still honors and gives respect to offerings.

What you give God is for your own good.

It will serve your purpose before God long before any other person's.

God remembers people's offerings and sacrifices.

What is God telling you?

*Remorse corner.*

Psalms 20:3 *Remember all thy offerings, and accept thy burnt sacrifice; Selah.*

*Word Action.*

Remember, Gen 4:4 *And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering:*

*The Christian clarion duty.*

God commands offering and giving that gives honor to Him.

*Prayer.*

Lord, remember my offerings and sacrifices.

Let them speak for me, in Jesus name.

Good morning, all, and be blessed as you come into His presence today.

Gid bless you.
