WE RECEIVE BY FAITH
*WISDOM FOR TODAY.*
*WE RECEIVE BY FAITH..."*
*Scripture Treasure.*
Heb 11:6 *But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.*
*Insight and Highlight.*
Faith is never so real as when it demands something painful from us.
*Scripture Commentaries.*
Many are not willing to part with anything they have. Even if they were willing, it would be at the assurance of receiving something in return.
Another instance is reluctance. People give reluctantly or when they are pushed to give.
Some can not be bothered at all. There is nothing anyone would say. They remain unmoved.
The Kingdom requires giving to receive Acts 20:35.
When we exercise faith, we are actually doing something when there is nothing at sight but believing that we will receive something in return.
It takes a high level of spiritual attainment and true Christian maturity
to be committed to something we hope for, though we can not see any evidence of it, ref Heb 11:1.
We are often made to understand that those who go through challenges are not children of God, though they claim to be.
This is not true because God often allows some things in our lives in order to manifest His glory
This kind of teaching often makes people give up faith rather than hang on to it.
In the Kingdom of God, we are left with no other principle than faith.
This is why faith is used in complementing pleasing God, Heb 11:6. This shows that faith is an Heavenly requirement in order to receive from God. We are in the Kingdom at a time like this to be unwavering in enduring, persevering, and waiting in faith.
Faith in God's promises for a period longer than expected can be painful as the day goes by, but it is gainful.
Let us be hopeful. Faith may demand from us, but there will be a supply of all our needs in Christ Jesus, Philp 4:19.
Remember always, Rom 12:12 *Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;*
*Remorse corner.*
When it comes to faith, the pain is the wait. The gain is receiving the promise.
*Call to Word action.*
Hebrews 10:36 *For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.*
*The Christian clarion duty.*
In your patience, you will not lose your soul.
Luke 21:19 *In your patience, possess ye your souls.*
*Prayer.*
Lord, strengthen my faith in Jesus name.
Good morning all, and have a blessed day.
God bless you.
