Acts 20:31 *Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.*

At times, we pray but we fail to see the enemy coming.
*Scripture Treasure.*
The Apostle Paul and Peter both admonished on the importance of prayer when combined with watching.
An element of our prayer life is watching.
To watch is to pray and to pray is to watch.
It is dangerous not to see the enemy you have been praying against, coming.
Apostle Paul says in Acts 20:31, Peter corroborates in 1 Pet 5:8
Their abilities to write these stems from the power of foresight through the Spirit.
Paul warned the early church to be watchful, while they pray because some false teachers will come into their midst to divide them.
He further revealed how for three years he had been praying over this revelation.
The watchfulness is not passive but active. It is a watch that finds expression and meaning as to; exercise care, caution, to closely observe, be on guard.
Always watching just as always praying.
When you pray, watch. When you watch, pray.

Lord, help me to watch while l pray and pray while l watch. Let not the enemy catch me unawares, in Jesus name.
