*WISDOM FOR TODAY.*
*WALKING FREE. (7)*
*Scripture Treasure.*
Ephesians 5:16 *Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.*
*lnsight and Highlight.*
Dream can be a seat of revelation about your past.
*Scripture Commentaries.*
Today we will look at the transition between what entails 'before salvation happens' and 'when it begins to happen'.
There is something that usually happens between 'before something happens', when it begins to happen' and the present.
What happened before, during, after to the present needs to be unraveled, if they persistently trouble us.
People are under the oppression of the past they do not remember or know about.
To conquer the past that is still hunting but unknown requires a revelation.
God reveals the hunting pasts. He could speak to us about it or chooses another way.
One of the ways He unravels a hunting past is through dreams.
Some pasts still speak against us and will continue, if we do not receive a revelation concerning how these deep rooted pasts are.
Some pasts still speak against us if we covenanted with them but do not receive a revelation concerning that covenant.
Dreams remain one of the most revealing ways God unravels the past.
However some of us are ignorant of some past mistakes that are still very much influencing our present.
We still have dreams taking us back to our childhood days, environments and these dreams are not going away any sooner. They are very recurrent. We have them many times and times all over again
Dreams became a seat of revelation for Joseph and this helped him through his persecutions.
He was able to relate his two dreams to his fulfilled destiny, Gen 39:5-9, Gen 42:9.
Paul did not have a dream to remember his past. His ability to remember them helped him to put away their influences on him.
When dreams come or God directly speaks on your past, God says in Eph.5:16 about God helping us redeem it.
Eph 5:16 says *Redeeming the time,....."*
God teaches us here that though it may appear difficult *".....because the days are evil.*, we can "buy back time" that was lost.
God can repurpose a lost time or opportunity by remaking, rebranding the same opportunity to come back again a second time.
While the world says 'opportunity lost can not be regained', God is saying He will make the old, new again and you will have the opportunity to "make the most of every opportunity" again!
Isaiah 43:18-19 says
*Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.*
*Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.*
This time, you will understand what good opportunities mean and the will of God for you concerning them and you will not waste it this time!
When God helps you to redeem the time, you will forget your wasted pasts and you will move forward by faith, redeemed and transformed.
If Paul forgot the past, you could also,
Philippians 3:13-14.
You may not just forget your past but redeem your story. Your past brokenness is a testament to God's power to make all things new.
When God redeems you, you will be cleared to walk with Him as the redeemed of the Lord.
*Remorse Corner.*
When God redeems the time, He transforms it and translates it to a repurposed future
*Call to Word action.*
Colossians 4:5 *Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.*
*The Christian clarion duty.*
Your life's losses do not make God a loser.
*Prayer.*
Lord, save me from my past to give me a good future. Let me walk with You all the days of my life in Jesus name.
Good morning all, and have a blessed day.
God bless you.
Shalom.
